MIB oral anesthetic gel  یک ژل بی حسی موضعی دندانی شامل 20% بنزوکائین است.

اين محصول با تاثير بر كانال­هاي سديمي سلولی از توليد و گسترش ايمپالس­ها يا پتانسيل­هاي عمل در سلول هاي عصبي جلوگيري مي كند.

سلولها در برابر نفوذ پذیری یون سدیم مقاوم شده و در نتیجه دپلاریزاسیون غشای نورونی مهار و هدایت پیام های عصبی به صورت موقت متوقف می­شود.

اين دارو توسط كولين استراز پلاسما دركبد متابوليزه شده و از راه كليه‌ها دفع مي‌گردد.

میانگین زمان شروع اثر این محصول 30 تا 40 ثانیه بوده و به مدت 20-30 دقیقه این اثر باقی می­ماند.

احتیاط:

افراد آلرژیک بهPABA، پارابن‌ها و پارافنيلن دي آمين و سایر مشتقات بی حسی شامل کائین، ممكن است به اين دارو حساس باشند.

مصرف زیاد دارو باعث بروز متهموگلوبینمی در كودكان می گردد.

:Introduction

MIB oral anesthetic Gel is a topical dental anesthetic contains 20% benzocaine, which prevents the production and spread of impulses or action potentials in nerve cells by affecting cellular sodium channels. The cells become resistant to sodium ion permeability and as a result, depolarization of the neuronal membrane is temporarily stopped by inhibiting and conducting neural messages. It is metabolized by plasma cholinesterase in the liver and is excreted by the kidneys. Average onset time the effect of this product is 30 to 40 seconds and this effect remains for 20-30 minutes.

:Caution

Those who are allergic to PABA, Parabens and paraphenylenediamines and other anesthetic derivatives including cain, may be sensitive to this drug.

Excessive drug use causes methemoglobinemia in infants and children.
